Since 2013, we have specialized in supporting and developing third-party products and creating our software. Our deep knowledge of the z/OS system and curiosity about open systems have helped us build a loyal customer base in hosting and automotive industries. We developed our unique product, the zKafka Connector, which bridges the mainframe with any open world Kafka installation.

The RzK – zKafka Connector and API is a “warp-speed” solution for z/OS to Kafka integration. It enables direct, fast data exchange with Kafka clusters—producing and consuming out of z/OS applications— without additional middleware or components. RzK supports nearly any language: Cobol, Assembler, REXX, PL/1, Python, Java, and more. For complex workflows, RzK offers Kafka transactions and batching, optimizing intricate operations.
It features state-of-the-art security with TLS encryption, minimal CPU and storage usage. Usable with TSO, Batch, CICS, IMS, NAT, and NAT RPC.
Designed for ease of use, RzK installs “out-of-the-box”, requiring no programming. RZKCOPY or the CLI allow an instant “produce”. Pre-built examples facilitate quick deployment.
Kafka topic and group administration is possible through an API. Error handling and performance tuning options enhance reliability and efficiency, making RzK a perfect bridge between the mainframe and Kafka.
