Introducing TechPulse, a Monthly Poll From TechChannel

TechPulse will provide a place for technologists on IBM Power and IBM Z to share their opinions and observations

2026 is bringing a new opportunity to share your opinions and compare notes with your IT community. This month, TechChannel is introducing TechPulse, a monthly poll that will gauge the sentiments held by IBM Z and IBM Power technologists and take stock of the technology they are working with.

Each month will bring a new topic, with the poll open the first three weeks of the month and results shared the fourth week. To kick things off, we’re asking for your thoughts on the biggest trends in IT. What trend on your platform do you find most encouraging? Which one gives you pause? What technologies will be the most important to understand in five years?

With TechPulse, we’ll be asking questions like these to help you get a handle on the most important issues in IT, covering topics ranging from cybersecurity and governance to growth management and AI. And because results are shared monthly, you’ll know you’re hearing the latest observations as you keep up with a tech world that moves fast.
