University of Louisville

The University of Louisville (UofL) has established a significant collaboration with IBM to enhance its technology programs and prepare students for the evolving digital landscape. In partnership with IBM, UofL has created an IBM Skills Academy within the Center for Digital Transformation at the Miller Information Technology Center. This academy offers curriculum and educational tools focused on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity, cloud computing, internet of things, quantum computing, data science and design thinking. Through the IBM Academic Initiative, UofL students and faculty have access to IBM software and cloud technology valued up to $5 million annually for teaching and non-commercial research purposes. Additionally, faculty receive training to teach these technologies and help students earn IBM digital credentials or college credit, enhancing their qualifications for high-tech careers.
