January TechPulse Results: IT Trends (IBM Power)
AI adoption and machine learning is the most encouraging development on the platform, TechChannel readers said in the Inaugural TechPulse.
To kick off the new TechPulse micro-survey program in January, TechChannel asked readers to weigh in on a few of the biggest trends in the IBM Power ecosystem.
The 35 respondents identified the growth of artificial intelligence as the most promising development, while highlighting the perception of IBM Power as “legacy” technology and skills gaps as the primary risks to the platform. To maintain their expertise, respondents said they rely heavily on vendor content and industry conferences.
Looking forward, the data suggests that AI-driven development tools and agentic architectures will be the most critical skills to master over the next decade.
